A presentation at OW2con'24 in in Paris, France by Tobie Langel
For the first time at OW2con, the conference ended with an open debate, giving a voice to all participants (speakers, attendees, sponsors). The topic “open source funding” was chosen through an upstream online vote. Ideas and experiences were shared around topics such as: diversity of income sources, contributors remuneration, impact of the funding on quality and sustainability, public or private financing, funding and sovereignty, donation as a long-term model, private incubators or accelerators, etc.
